About Mindrolling

Mindrolling exists for a simple, old-fashioned reason: some ideas deserve more than a scroll-past. We publish essays on science, philosophy, technology, and culture — written slowly, edited seriously, and set in a form that respects the reader's attention.

Our name joins the arch, the oldest load-bearing form in architecture, with the antique, what has survived long enough to prove its worth. That is the editorial standard: ideas strong enough to bear weight, and built to last.

We are deliberately small. A short roster of contributing editors, a two-level map of topics, and no infinite feed. Everything on the site was chosen by a person who believed you should read it — in pursuit, always, of the greater ideas of mankind.
